3. Jesus, God's fingerprint becomes Man

Reflection on the Incarnation -
Jesus is “God with skin”  God became one of us.   God became Man.  Jesus being a man had his own unique, individual fingerprint.  But Jesus wasn’t just touched by God, or created by God.  Jesus IS God, Jesus’ fingerprint IS God’s.  And this fingerprint, GOD’s fingerprint, went out into the world, touching the world...leaving his fingerprints on all who encountered him.  God touched many lives, through Jesus.  We are going to look at many stories and ways in which Jesus touched people while he was on this earth physically. Choose one of the following stories to read and complete the questions below.


Stories of Touch 

1.Out of compassion, Jesus touched an "untouchable" leper and healed him, Matthew 8:1-3, Mark 1:40-42, Luke 5:12-13.
2.Jesus touched Peter’s wife’s mother, and her fever left her, Matthew 8:14-15.
3.Compassion again was His motive when He touched and healed two blind men, Matthew 9:27-29, 20:30-34.
4.Jesus touched his fearful disciples to comfort them, Matthew 17:5-8.
5.He touched the tongue of a deaf man with a speech impediment and cured him, Mark 7:32-35.
6.The Master touched the coffin of a young man, who arose, Luke 7:11-16.
7.And in one of His last miracles during His earthly ministry, Jesus touched the high priests servants ear which Peter
had lopped off, restoring it whole, Luke 22:50-51.
